Affordable Housing Solutions: What Every Realtor Should Know

The focus of the course is a full discussion on the Florida Housing Single Program that provides affordable home financing alternatives through competitive rate first mortgages and coupled with down payment and closing costs assistance to qualified households throughout the State of Florida. This is a state-approved class with 3-HR of CE credits.

Course topics include:
1. Why you as a real estate professional need to understand and support affordable housing;
2. Homeownership programs offered through Florida Housing, including down payment and closing cost assistance and the Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC) program; and
3. Homeownership resources available throughout Florida (SHIP, local resources).
